Weaver Announces Court at Law Re-Election Bid

Potter County Court at Law Judge Walt Weaver is running for re-election.

On Saturday, Weaver filed for re-election to his bench in Potter County, becoming the first candidate in the race. Weaver also issued a statement on social media asking his supporters to once again back him for the office in 2026.

“I am grateful for my last re-election and have enjoyed serving the citizens of Potter County for the past 7 years,” Weaver wrote. “I look forward to the opportunity to serving you all for another 4 years.”

Weaver was first elected to the bench in 2018 and was re-elected unopposed in 2022. His tenure as judge has been noted for his innovative work and accomplishment as a trial judge.

The primary election will be held in March 2026.
