Potter County Court at Law #2 Judge Matt Hand is seeking another term in office.
Hand, who is currently finishing out his second term on the bench, announced his re-election campaign last week. In a social media post, Hand described why he enjoys his role.
“It is an honor and privilege to serve Potter County,” Hand wrote. “Thank you to all of my friends and supporters.”
Hand has served on the bench since 2019 and was re-elected unopposed in 2022. Prior to taking office, Hand had a distinguished career as a civil attorney at a local law firm. After taking the bench, Hand notably helped to create the Panhandle Regional Problem Solving Court. Hand is a graduate of Washburn University School of Law.
The primary election for this office will be held in March 2026.
