Marie McNutt will be the next Randall County Clerk.
According to unofficial election results posted Tuesday night, McNutt defeated her opponent, Gigi Yeats, in the Republican primary for Randall County Clerk, 56-44%. McNutt, an employee of the Randall County District Clerk’s office, faced off with Yeats, the chief deputy for the County Clerk’s office, who was also endorsed by the outgoing incumbent.
With her win, McNutt is poised to take over the role from incumbent Susan Allen in January 2027. No Democrats or third party candidates filed for the ballot.
