Grammer, Herrmann Head to Randall County Court Runoff

Claire Grammer and Paul Herrmann have advanced to a runoff in the race to replace outgoing Randall County Court at Law Judge James Anderson.

According to unofficial election results, Grammer received 43 percent to Herrmann’s 29 percent. Trailing the two front runners was Todd Hatter with 12 percent, Andrew Smith with 8 percent, and Dallas McKibben with 7.5 percent.

Grammer and Herrmann are both local criminal defense attorneys. Both attorneys are also first time judicial candidates.

Voters will decide this Republican primary race in May 2026.
