Senate Candidate Wesley Hunt Plots Amarillo Campaign Stop

Amarillo voters will have the chance to meet one of the Republicans running for the U.S. Senate in Texas next week.

On Monday, U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt will stop in Amarillo at the Big Texan for a campaign event. The event is a meet and greet, with voters invited to mingle with the Houston Republican.

Hunt, a retired Army officer, is a two-term congressman from the Houston area. He is one of three leading Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate, alongside Sen. John Cornyn and Attorney General Ken Paxton. The three candidates are competing in the upcoming March 3rd primary election.

The event will take place at 12pm on Monday, January 19th.
