Potter County Fire and Rescue has named a new public information officer.
According to a press release, Steven Denny has been named the new PIO for Potter County Fire and Rescue. Denny, an Amarillo attorney and volunteer firefighter, became eligible for the role after completing public information officer training at the 89th Annual Municipal Fire School hosted by the Texas Engineering Extension Service. In his role, Denny will transmit information on emergency operations, fire prevention, burn bans, and more, on behalf of Potter County Fire.
