Former Amarillo City Councilman Mark Nair brought in just under $10,000 to boost his congressional campaign during the first month of his candidacy.

During the campaign finance reporting period between July 1, 2025, and September 30, 2025, Nair reported raising $7,547.21 in campaign contributions. This includes just under $2,000 in unitemized contributions. Among itemized contributions, Nair reported $1,000 contributions from Danny Bryant and Brian Weis.

Nair officially launched his candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives in August, seeking to challenge U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Amarillo) as a Democrat.

As of this most recent reporting period, Jackson reported having just over $4 million on hand to boost his campaign.
