Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton will be speaking at an event hosted by Turning Point USA later this month.
On Tuesday, October 7, Paxton will headline an event hosted by Turning Point USA at Cook’s Garage in Lubbock. Paxton will be speaking at 7 pm at the event.
Paxton’s appearance comes as the attorney general is seeking the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate this year against incumbent John Cornyn. Recent polling has shown Paxton leading Cornyn, albeit by smaller margins than in earlier polls.
The event is open to the public and students will have preferred seating.
