APD Investigating December Theft Report on Northeast 24th

Amarillo Police are investigating an incident that took place last year in the 3600 block of Northeast 24th Avenue.

On Wednesday, December 18th, officers were dispatched to a business in the 3600 block of Northeast 24th Avenue on a theft. When officers arrived, they discovered that an employee was attempting to stop a female suspect from concealing items on her person. The suspect bit the employee and was able to leave the scene on foot prior to officers arriving, APD reports.

The suspect is described as a “heavy-set white female with dirty blonde hair,” according to APD’s description.
