Authorities are currently investigating a forged check in Amarillo.
According to Amarillo Crime Stoppers, on Tuesday, March 17, APD officers were dispatched to the U.S. Post Office at 8301 Amarillo Boulevard West on a forgery. A suspect reportedly used a forged check to obtain hundreds of stamps. APD says it was later discovered that the same suspect also used a forged check to obtain stamps at other post office locations.
