Amarillo authorities are currently investigating an armed robbery in the 1200 block of Amarillo Boulevard East.

According to the Amarillo Police Department, on Tuesday, March 31, APD officers were dispatched to a reported armed robbery at a business in the 1200 block of Amarillo Boulevard East. The suspect came in and pointed a pistol at employees demanding money, authorities say. The suspect left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported during this incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 5’6” and 5’8” tall, medium build, wearing a gray hooded jacket, red shirt, black baseball cap with white on the brim, red gloves, camo colored shorts, and black shoes with white soles. The suspect left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
