Luke Kasper has been named the new director of sports medicine for the West Texas A&M University athletics program.
Kasper was officially appointed the role last week by WTAMU Director of Athletics, Michael McBroom. Kasper is taking on the role after completing his first year of serving as Assistant Athletic Trainer and Lecturer for the Sports and Exercise Science Department. Kasper will continue to assist with the West Texas A&M University Buffs football team while taking on the role of director of sports medicine.
Kasper obtained his Master's degree in Health Promotion from the University of Alabama in 2012. Kasper has previously worked with the College of Saint Scholastica and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Kasper has also served as an intern for the Indianapolis Colts.
Kasper is a native of Westmont, Illinois.
