Kristian Branson has joined the West Texas A&M University women's basketball coaching staff for the 2017-2018 season.
WTAMU's athletics department announced today that Branson is set to join the team's coaching staff. Branson is joining the WTAMU coaching staff after serving a season as video coordinator for Stephen F. Austin University's women's basketball team. According to WTAMU, Branson was charged with charged with video sharing and breakdown of games and practice at SFA, while evaluating opposing players, highlight tapes and handling official visit videos for recruits, during his tenure at Stephen F. Austin.
Prior to joining Stephen F. Austin, Branson worked as an assistant coach at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Branson has also served in capacities at Vanguard College Preparatory, Centex Elite AAU Team and at the Live Oak Classical School.
Branson is from Palmdale, California.
