WTAMU Announces Refugee Service Provider Conference

West Texas A&M University will be hosting a Refugee Services Provider Conference, this month.

WTAMU university announced today that post-settlement readjustment will be the topic of the conference. The conference is part of the WTAMU's Social Justice Leadership Conference. The conference will feature Dr. Faith Nibbs, director of the Forced Migration Upward Mobility Project.

The conference will run from Thursday, March 23rd through Friday, March 24th, in the Jack B. Kelley Student Center Legacy Hall. An optional refugee simulation will also occur on Saturday, March 25th.

The cost of attendance is $75 for those wishing to earn CEU's. For those not wishing to earn CEU's, the cost is $15. WTAMU students, faculty and staff can attend for free, but registration is required.
