Authorities are investigating two carjackings that took place at Amarillo businesses on Monday afternoon.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers are investigating carjackings that took place at the Walmart store at 4215 Canyon Drive and at the United Market Street at 2530 S. Georgia. Officers say that a Hispanic male with long dark hair and wearing all black forced victims from their vehicles and then left in the vehicles.
The same suspect was described at both incidents. No weapon was ever displayed. The investigations are still ongoing.
