Two counties in the Texas Panhandle have recently issued burn bans.
According to the Texas A&M Forest Service, Oldham County and Armstrong County have both issued burn bans. The bans are currently the only active bans in the Amarillo region.
The two counties have joined 54 other Texas counties in enacting active burn bans.
