Amarillo Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Monday afternoon.
According to APD, officers were dispatched on Monday at 3:32PM to an apartment in the 2500 block of South Spring on the report of a shooting. The caller advised that a white or Hispanic male wearing a red shirt had entered the apartment, shot one time, then fled on foot. A juvenile female was struck by a bullet and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
