Amarillo Police Investigating Overnight Robbery

Amarillo Police are investigating an apartment robbery that occurred on Wednesday night.

According to APD, around 9:12PM on Wednesday, June 26th, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at an apartment in the 4600 block of Virginia Street. Three victims stated they heard a knock on the door before opening it to find a black male wearing a mask and a Hispanic male pointing a gun at them.

Officers say the two suspects allegedly pushed their way into the apartment and ordered the victims to give them everything of value. During the incident, the Hispanic male reportedly fired the gun at the ground.

No injuries were reported in this incident. Suspects left the scene with several items from the apartment.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 6’1” tall, with a skinny build and dark short hair. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male standing around 5’10” tall, weighing around 220 pounds and having short brown hair.
