Contrary to what was previously reported, filing will continue for the AISD Board of Trustees special election through next month.
Amarillo ISD is set to accept applications to run for one seat on the AISD Board of Trustees through Monday, March 4th. Whoever wins the seat will serve out the remaining two years of former trustee James Allen’s four-year term. Robin R. Malone, an attorney, was appointed to the role and is running for the final two years. As of right now, she has not drawn any challengers.
Election day will be on May 4th.
