One person is dead and another is in the hospital following a stabbing in North Amarillo.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were dispatched Tuesday afternoon to the 1400 block of North Taylor Street on the report of a stabbing. Felipe Rojas, 59, was found suffering from multiple stab injuries to the upper body. A 28-year-old male suspect, was detained on scene and was transported to be treated for a stab wound. Rojas later died at the scene.
The suspect's identity has not been released. Amarillo Police Department Special Crimes Unit is investigating. Judge Debbie Horn has order an autopsy.
