The Amarillo Police Department is investigating after officers discovered a body lying in an alley on South Arthur Street.
According to APD, officers were dispatched on July 11th to the west alley of the 900 block of South Arthur. A deceased female, identified as Latrece Black, 28, was found lying in an alley.
Judge Richard Herman has ordered an autopsy to be performed in Lubbock. This death is still under investigation by the APD Special Crimes Unit. If you have any information, you are asked to call 806-378-9468 or 806-374-4400.
