Amarillo Police are investigating a homicide that took place on Sunday.
According to APD, authorities were dispatched to the 700 block of North Cleveland around noon on Sunday. Authorities found that a gunshot victim was transported to a local hospitla, where he later died.
The victim was identified as Rene Soto, 42. An autopsy has been ordered.
Investigators believes that there is more than one victim involved in the shooting. Suspects fled westbound from Cleveland on Northeast 7th Avenue toward Arthur Street.
