Authorities are currently investigating an incident, in which a 3-year-old was reportedly sent to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to APD, officers were dispatched on Tuesday night to the 100 block of South Belleview on the report of a shooting. A 3-year-old female was shot in the lower body and was transported by EMS to a local hospital. Her injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
The shooting incident occurred inside of the residence where the girl lives. The suspect is known to the victim.
This incident is still under investigation by APD.
