Amarillo Police Seek Shooting Suspects

The Amarillo Police Department is currently asking for the public's help in its hunt for two suspects involved in a recent shooting.

According to APD, officers were dispatched on Tuesday night to the 2600 block of East Amarillo Boulevard on the report of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, a 55-year-old female, was being given emergency aid by a citizen. APD reports that it is believes that the victim was shot multiple times after a shouting match between two unknown male suspects. The victim was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

The subjects in the case were described as being males with dark complexions. Both ran southeast from the scene.
