Amarillo Police Seek Suspects in CEFCO Robbery

The Amarillo Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding suspects involved in an armed robbery at the CEFCO store on South Coulter.

According to APD, officers were dispatched on Monday morning to the CEFCO at 3400 S. Coulter, where a robbery had occurred at 2:36am. The front desk clerk says two suspects came into the store and acted as if they were shopping. The first suspect was described as being a tall black male wearing black beanie, glasses and grey long sleeve shirt. The other suspect was described as being a shorter black male wearing a ski mask, gray sweatshirt with hood pulled up over his head.

The taller suspect displayed a black handgun and demanded money, while stepping over the counter. The second suspect displayed a silver handgun and also went behind the counter. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and tobacco products.

No arrests have been made at this time. If you have any information, you are asked to call the Amarillo Police Department or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400. If your tip leads to an arrest and/or recovery of stolen property, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
