2018 will mark a new occurrence for the City of Amarillo’s transit system.
According to information released Tuesday, for the first time during the holiday season, the City of Amarillo’s transit will operate on a regular schedule for Black Friday, November 23rd. Of note, four routes will serve the Westgate Mall area.
However, not all City departments will be open. City officials say beginning Thursday, City Hall will be closed through the rest of the week in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
