City to Hold Transit Meetings

"The City of Amarillo will be presenting its recommendations for a new Amarillo City Transit fixed route system at three separate open houses. You are encouraged to attend one of these open houses to learn about the planning process, talk with transit experts, and learn about the route recommendations.

  • The open houses are scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, August 2, 5 p.m to 7 p.m.

  • Alamo Community Center, 1502 S Cleveland St

  • Located on Route 4, Arthur St & SE 16th Ave

  • Thursday, August 3, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Amarillo Downtown Library, 413 SE 4th Ave

  • Two Blocks from Transit Station

  • Thursday, August 3, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

  • North Branch Library, 1500 NE 24th Ave

  • Located on Route 2, NE 24th & Mirror St
