APD Investigating Convenience Store Robbery

"On 6-4-17, at 11:09 PM, officers were dispatched to the Toot ‘n Totum store at 2601 Paramount Boulevard on a robbery.

The female employee reported that the suspect approached from the south. He entered the store with a handgun in his hand. He approached the counter and pointed the gun at her, demanding money from the register. The victim took the money out of the register and handed it to the suspect. The suspect then left the store and was last seen going west from the business.

The robber was a white male about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was described as having a slim build, and had light colored hair visible, though he had what appeared to be a pair of blue jeans wrapped around his head to cover his face. He was wearing a black and blue shirt and black shorts.

No one was injured in the robbery and there have been no arrests.

If you have any information about this robbery, call Amarillo Police Department or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400."
