Texas Monthly has named Rep. Four Price (R-Amarillo) as one of the best state representatives in Austin.
According to the article released today, the magazine named Walter "Four" Price, IV as one of the top ten best representatives in Austin. The magazine said that Price gets "lost in the shuffle" because he "makes his work look easy." The magazine said the Price's pushing of House Bill 10 is one of the key pieces of legislation that earned Price the honor.
Price joined Rep. Bryon Cook (R-Corsicana), Rep. Sarah Davis (R-Houston), Rep. Dan Huberty (R-Houston), Sen. Joan Huffman (R-Houston), Rep. Joe Moody (D-El Paso), Sen. Robert Nichols (R-Jacksonville), Rep. Chris Paddie (R-Marshall), Rep. Matt Schaefer (R-Tyler), and Rep. Senfronia Thompson (D-Houston) on the list of best legislators.
The magazine named Rep. Briscoe Cain (R-Deer Park), Rep. Dawnna Dukes (D-Austin), Rep. Gary Elkins (R-Houston), Rep. Jessica Farrar (D-Houston), Sen. Kelly Hancock (R-North Richland Hills), Sen. Lois Kolkhorst (R-Brenham), Sen. Charles Perry (R-Lubbock), Rep. Matt Rinaldi (R-Irving), Sen. Charles Schwertner (R-Georgetown), and Rep. Jonathan Stickland (R-Bedford) as the worst legislators of 2017.
