El Paso Congressman Beto O'Rourke was in Amarillo on Saturday, promoting his campaign for U.S. Senate.
O'Rourke, an El Paso Democrat, visited Amarillo to discuss his platform for his senate bid and why he believes he is best suited for the job. O'Rourke gave his speech to a crowd of about 250 people. Attendees asked questions of the Congressman then snapped pictures.
O'Rourke was introduced by local attorney Jeff Blackburn.
