Suspect Sought in Amarillo Robberies Arrested

The robbery suspect known as the "Barrel Chested Bandit" has been arrested.

According to KVOA News, in Tucson, Arizona, the suspect was taken into custody by FBI agents, with assistance from Tucson police.

Anthony Lane, 50, is the suspect in eleven robberies across Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Lane is a suspect in two robberies in Amarillo; one on October 18th and another on December 12th.

The FBI issued a statement thanking the public for tips that led to Lane's arrest. According to reports, the FBI was offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Lane was reportedly arrested without incident.
