Suspect Arrested in Amarillo Boulevard Robbery Investigation

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a robbery investigation.

On February 9th, officers were dispatched to a business robbery in the 800 block of Amarillo Boulevard East. Employees told officers that a suspect entered the business and pointed a handgun at them. The suspect demanded money, but left on foot before anything could be taken.

Officers located a man walking in the 1000 block of Amarillo Boulevard East, who matched the description of the suspect. The male was identified as Jeremias Medina, 19. Officers reportedly located a replica hand gun in an empty lot from which Medina was walking. APD reports officers believe Medina is the suspect from the robbery, and arrested him for Aggravated Robbery and local municipal warrants. Medina was booked in the Potter County Detention Center.
