The Amarillo Police Department has identified a man who was killed in a vehicle collision in the Quail Creek area on Tuesday.
According to APD, officers were dispatched to the area of Quail Creek and SW 9th Avenue on Tuesday, under the report of a collision involving a pedestrian. When officers arrived they found that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. The pedestrian was not using a crosswalk and died from his injuries.
APD is reporting that the deceased man has been identified as Ricky Ray Graves, 60.
Justice of the Peace Richard Herman has ordered an autopsy. This incident is still under investigation.
