APD Investigating North Amarillo Bakery Robbery

The Amarillo Police Department is investigating a robbery of a bakery that took place on Christmas Eve.

APD reports that officers were sent to Sanchez Bakery at 1010 Amarillo Boulevard East on Christmas Eve on the report of a robbery. 

When officers arrived, they found that two female employees were there when the business was robbed. The suspect entered the store and walked into the kitchen area, produced a handgun and demanded the money. One of the employees handed him the money from the register. The suspect then fled the building.

The suspect is described as male of unknown race and age, about six feet tall, slim, and wearing a dark colored ski mask and dark colored jacket. The suspect is believed to have left the scene in a tan or gold four-door seen going south on Arthur after the robbery.

No person was injured in the incident and no suspects have been arrested.
