Amarillo Police Make Arrest in Moore Homicide

The Amarillo Police Department has made an arrest in a December 10th homicide on Moore Street.

APD is reporting that Anna Marie Jewell Powers, 22, was arrested out of a residence in the 3900 block of Justin Drive on Tuesday. She was booked into the Potter County Detention Center in the case of the murder of Joshua Daniels, 23.

Officers have also obtained warrants and are currently seeking two other suspects in the case. Those being sought are:

  • Christopher Blake Yost, a 27 year old white male described as being 5’10’’ tall and weighing 199 pounds. He has a bald head and blue eyes. Yost has a warrant for murder out of Potter County.  

  • Kyle Matthew Monnet, a 30 year old white male described as being 6’3’’ tall and weighing 200 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. Monnet has a warrant for murder out of Potter County.
