Drivers on Bell Street will see detours beginning today during a water main relocation project.
According to City of Amarillo staff, drivers attempting to access the Interstate 40 East access road will detour to Erik Avenue and Hancock Street during the relocation project. The center lane and dedicated right turn lane will be closed during the project.
Traffic will be detoured during the project for a projected window of two weeks.
