City Council to Tackle Board Appointments

The Amarillo City Council plans to tackle advisory board appointments, during their regular meeting on Tuesday.

Among other items on the agenda, council members will be considering appointments to several City of Amarillo boards. These include: Amarillo Economic Development Corporation, Amarillo Hospital District Board of Managers, Amarillo MPO Policy Committee, Amarillo-Potter Events Venue District, Animal Management &Welfare, Board of Review - Landmarks & Historic District, Community Development Advisory Committee, Construction Advisory and Appeals Board, Library Advisory Board, Quail Creek Public Improvement District Advisory Board, and the 21st Century Senior Services Development Advisory Board.

Other items on the ballot include calling a municipal election, applications for housing tax credits, and rezoning ordinances.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 31st at Amarillo City Hall (509 SE 7th Avenue).

The meeting will begin at 5pm.
