Amarillo Goes to the Mat: Amarillo Fighters to Participate in Bellator Bouts

Two fighters from Amarillo's Nick's Fight Club will be participating in televised fights, tonight.

Ray "All Business" Wood and John King will both be participating in Bellator MMA fights, at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Both fighters, who train at Nick's Fight Club, will be appearing at the Bellator 166 event. The event is heavily anticipated, due to its main event match, pitting Joe Warren against Eduardo Dantas for the Bantamweight World Title.

Wood's fight, which is a main card fight, will pit the Nick's Fight Club favorite against A.J. McKee. Wood is no rookie of the MMA fights, coming into tonight's event with a record of 8-2-0. McKee's record is 5-0-0. During weigh-ins, both men clocked in at 145 pounds.

King's fight, which is a prelim fight, will pit him against Kinny Spotwood. King's impressive record of 4-3-0 will be pitted against Spotwood's 2-2-0 record. Both men weighed in at 210 pounds.

The preliminary fights will begin at 7:15pm, while the main card fights will begin at 9pm. Bellator 166 will be televised on Spike.
