Judge Robert Taylor will have a challenger next year in Potter County.
Last week, Alex “AJ” Casias, Jr., launched his candidacy for the Republican nomination for Justice of the Peace in Potter’s Precinct 2. Casias is a precinct chairman for the Potter County Republican Party.
The office is currently held by Taylor, a Republican who was last re-elected in 2022. Taylor, a former police officer, has been in office for the past seven years.
The primary election will be held in March 2026.
