The City of Amarillo has announced its service schedule for Christmas and New Year’s.
Trash collection:
For both Christmas and New Year’s, Monday routes for residential customers will be served on Tuesday, while Tuesday routes will be served on Wednesday. All commercial routes will be served on Tuesday. Curbside bulky trash collection will not be available on Christmas Day.
Christmas Eve:
Amarillo Public Library locations will be closed.
Christmas Day:
Amarillo City Hall, the city landfill and brush sites, city transit, city golf courses, and city libraries will be closed.
December 26th:
Amarillo City Hall and city libraries will be closed. City Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule.
New Year’s Eve:
Amarillo Public Library locations will be closed.
New Year’s Day:
Amarillo City Hall, the city landfill and brush sites, city transit, and city libraries will be closed.
