U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Amarillo) is officially on the ballot for 2024.
According to the Republican Party of Texas, Jackson filed to seek re-election on Saturday. Jackson was one of the first congressional incumbents to file their application for re-election and enters the race without any declared challengers.
Jackson, who was first elected to the U.S. House in 2020, is seeking his third term in office.
Candidate filing will continue through December 11. The primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
