Randall County Commission to Consider Reinstating Burn Ban

Provided

The Randall County Commission is set to meet tomorrow morning at 9:00 am to consider, among other items, reinstating the county’s burn ban.

The meeting agenda item states that the commission will “discuss and take action on an order prohibiting outdoor fires in Randall County, Texas.”

This comes after the county had lifted the burn ban early last month. The county cited recent rainfalls as the reason for the lifting of the burn ban at that time.

Other items on the agenda relate to creation of a new reinvestment zone, tax abatements, Volunteer Fire Department contracts, and more.

The meeting will take place at 501 16th Street Suite 305 in Canyon. Visit the Randall County website to view the full agenda.
