Local authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred in East Amarillo on Saturday.

According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were called at 2:33am on Saturday, July 9, to the 700 block of Pittsburg Street on a shooting. Officers arrived at the residence to find that a suspect had pulled up to the residence in a white truck, got out of the vehicle, fired multiple times into the residence, and then left the scene.

No injuries were reported from the incident.

The investigation into this shooting remains ongoing by the APD Violent Crimes Detective Unit. APD has released a photograph of the suspect vehicle to the public, and has asked the public for help in solving this crime.
