APD: Arrest Made Following Bell Street Shooting

Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with a Wednesday shooting on South Bell Street.

On Wednesday, September 29, at 7:17 p.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting inside of an apartment at 1550 South Bell Street. Officers found a male subject who had been shot at the location. The subject was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. The deceased subject was later identified as Ladarius Johnson, 22.

Detectives spoke to witnesses who were inside the apartment when the shooting occurred. Witnesses identified Dylan Mims, 20, as the suspect in shooting. Mims was still at the scene and was arrested and booked into the Potter County Detention Center on the charge of manslaughter.
