Popular country band Midland will play at Hodgetown this spring.

On Tuesday, the Amarillo Sod Poodles announced Midland will bring their current tour to Hodgetown on April 3. Perhaps best known for their smash hit “Drinkin’ Problem,” Midland is planning a Texas tour that will wrap up at Hodgetown.

“We couldn't be more excited to welcome the incredible band, Midland, to Amarillo to mark the first public HODGETOWN event of the new year!" Sod Poodles President and General Manager Tony Ensor said in a statement. “Despite the challenges we faced last year as a community, together, we worked in unison, closely following COVID safety protocols which enabled us to safely host several large entertainment events and we couldn’t be more proud of those efforts.”
