City of Amarillo Utility Billing Resuming

The City of Amarillo Utility Billing Department has resumed normal billing practices for bills beginning in May 2019. The Utility Billing Department has completed the transition to a new billing system.

Customers can refer to the back of their utility bill for information regarding billing practices. Payment arrangements are available according to certain criteria. Visit billing.amarillo.gov for more information.

Utility bills can be paid online at billing.amarillo.gov. Bills can also be paid by phone at (806) 576-1932. Payments can be mailed in the return envelope provided with utility bills.

Payments can also be made in-person at Amarillo City Hall, 601 S. Buchanan. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. There are several pay stations located around the city. Please refer to billing.amarillo.gov for more information.  Payments must be received by the due date listed on the bill in order to avoid late fees, penalties or service interruptions.
