Ribbon Cutting Planned at Amarillo Ballpark

A ribbon cutting will be hosted next month at the new ballpark in downtown Amarillo.

On Thursday, April 4th, local officials will gather for a ribbon cutting at the new ballpark on South Buchanan Street. The ballpark, named “Hodgetown,” in honor of former Amarillo mayor Jerry Hodge, will begin hosting games just days after the ribbon cutting.

The ribbon cutting will begin at 1PM and is free and open to the public. Tours of the stadium will not be provided.
