Authorities say a missing person has been found deceased in an Amarillo parking lot.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were dispatched Friday afternoon to a parking lot in the 7700 block of IH-40 West. The caller had located a grey Nissan Sentra that was reportedly driven by a missing person, Tara Spears. Officers found a female deceased inside of the car, who was later identified as Spears. Spears was last seen on March 7th and was reported missing on March 12th.
APD Special Crimes and Crime Scene Investigation officers were called to investigate. There is no evidence supporting foul play, authorities say.
