City Council to Consider Purchasing New Uniforms

The Amarillo City Council will vote next week on an annexation petition and a purchase order for new uniforms.

According to the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting, the Amarillo City Council will consider spending a little over $116,000 for new police and airport uniforms. The contract will be awarded to Nardis. Also, during the same meeting, the City Council will vote on a petition requesting the annexation of 329 acres in the area of Hollywood Road and Soncy Road/Loop 335 for a new elementary school.

Councilmembers will meet at 1PM on Tuesday, March 5th in the Council Chambers of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). The meeting will follow a noon public comment session.
