City Council to Talk Appraisal Board Vacancies

The Amarillo City Council will receive nominations for filling vacancies on the Potter and Randall County appraisal boards next week.

According to an agenda from Amarillo.gov, the City Council will receive nominations next week on filling vacancies for both counties. The boards have four vacant positions at this time and following receipt of the nominations, the taxing entities involved will have an election scheduled to vote on approving the submitted nominees, according to the agenda. From the context of the agenda, it does not appear that any formal action will be taken by the City Council on Tuesday.

Councilmembers will meet at 1PM in the Council Chambers of City Hall (601 South Buchanan) on Tuesday, October 8th.
